Bio
After graduating from the American International University in London with honors degrees in History and Economics, Randi Willis went to work for a chartered airline based in London and with operations across Europe. Her background includes flying school management, animation & visual effects, youth & corporate education, strategic planning, project management, and conflict mediation.
In 2011 Randi moved to the Bay Area and began working with Singularity University as faculty for Finance, Economics & Entrepreneurship. In her five years with Singularity U her work encompassed Operations & Production as well as working closely with Academics and Faculty towards program development and execution.
In 2015, Randi left Singularity U to create an incubator for artists at m0xy - a collaborative art studio based in Oakland. m0xy seeks to instill into artists professional development skills such as business planning, project management, marketing and grant-writing by offering services and classes in these areas to resident and non-resident artists alike.
Randi began consulting in 2017, taking what she learned in Silicon Valley and using it to help small businesses grow from big ideas to companies that run like well-oiled machines. She offers specialization in operations and process development but loves opportunities to bring her skillset to new ideas and positions. She has consulted with (among others): Runway Innovation Hub, the Alameda County Family Justice Center, and International Bird Rescue.
She was awarded her Juris Doctorate in 2020 from Zoom School of Law (formerly UC Hastings College of the Law). During law school Randi was certified as a rape crisis counsellor. She focused her time in law school on Alternative Dispute Resolution, receiving awards and completing her mediator certification.
